Eran Tzidkiyahu
Eran Tzadokiyahu is a researcher of Jewish-Arab relations and a geopolitical guide. He completed his doctoral dissertation on religious nationalism in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a comparative lens at the Paris Institute of Political Studies in Paris (Sciences-Po).
In the years 2022 to 2024, Eran was a postdoctoral fellow in the Departments of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He also lectures in the Department of Political Science and the Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University. His current research focuses on the conflict related to the Temple Mount and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which he conducts as an independent scholar.
Eran’s research and writing for the Forum for Regional Thinking concentrate on Israel and the Palestinians, religious nationalism in the Middle East, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and Jewish-Arab relations within Israel and the territories, emphasizing East Jerusalem and sacred spaces. Additionally, he played a central role in hosting the podcast Kan Ze Sham, a joint project of the Forum for Regional Thinking, the Van Leer Institute, and MEISAI.
Previously, he worked as a project coordinator at the international organization Search for Common Ground in Jerusalem and as a political process advisor to religious leaders in Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
Alongside his academic work, Eran Tzadokiyahu works as a guide, lecturer, and independent consultant in the geopolitical field. He is active in Jerusalem’s civil society and has been involved in founding several NGOs focusing on Jewish-Arab relations in the city. He currently serves on their boards.
Eran is a partner and a father to three sons. He is also engaged in education on healthy and positive sexuality and lectures to teenagers on gender equality.
