יחזקאל ליין

נולד ברוסריו (ארגנטינה) ועלה לישראל בגיל 20. מתגורר בירושלים, נשוי ואב לשלושה. בין השנים 2008 ו-2021 שימש כראש יחידת הניתוח והמחקר של המשרד לתיאום הענייני ההומניטאריים של האו"ם בשטחים. לפני כן, עבד במשך כתשע שנים כחוקר, ולאחר מכן כמנהל מחלקת המחקר של בצלם. הוא חקר, כתב וערך עשרות דו"חות, מאמרים וניירות עמדה הנוגעים לזכויות האדם ולמצב ההומניטארי בשטחים, וכן השתתף בפעילויות סנגור והסברה בנושאים הללו. הוא בעל תואר שני במשפט זכויות האדם הבינלאומי מטעם אוניברסיטת אוקספורד, וכן תואר שני במדע המדינה מטעם האוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. כרגע הוא דוקטורנט במחלקה לגיאוגרפיה של אוניברסיטת בן גוריון בנגב, תחת הנחיית פרופ' אורן יפתחאל. הוא דובר עברית, אנגלית, ספרדית וערבית.    

Born in Rosario (Argentina) immigrated to Israel at the age of 20 and currently lives in Jerusalem. He is married and has three children.

Between 2008 and 2021 served as Head of the Research Analysis Unit with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt). Prior to that, worked for nine years with B’Tselem, first as a researcher and then as director of the Research Unit. He researched, wrote, and edited dozens of reports, articles, and position papers concerning various human rights and humanitarian issues in the oPt, and carried out related advocacy activities.

He holds a Masters in International Human Rights Law from Oxford University and a Masters in Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in the Geography Department at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, under the supervision of Prof. Oren Yiftachel. 

He is fluent in English, Spanish, Hebrew, and Arabic.
